I've had a busy few weeks! The most noteworthy event being that I moved back into my apartment with a good friend, Jessica. Neither of us can figure out how we have accumulated so much
stuff in such a short amount of time. Moving day went smoothly. Packing the van was the most challenging part - it was more like solving a Rubik's cube. Fortunately, we had Sarmili the driver helping us with that part. He even packed ME in!
Then the UNpacking started...
We started out with quite a pile, but it has been whittled down to just a few things here and there. All bags are unpacked, anyway. I do still have a pile on my bathroom floor, but it will have to wait for a few more days.
The best parts of being back in this apartment are: having a great roommate (added plus - she's also a great cook!); being much closer to the church office which means less time and money spent on taxis; easier access to inexpensive public transportation; I'm now within walking distance of the mall; and I don't have to live out of my suitcase anymore!!!
Prayer:
- God is really working in our youth program to guide us into the right roles and to get projects going that hadn't gotten started yet.
- The next youth retreat is coming up April 27 and there is a LOT of planning to be done
- This Friday we are having a housewarming party and inviting our friends to come and join us in going around and praying in the different rooms of our apartment to ask for blessing
