The Perfect Day Off
I had the opportunity to take a day trip with some new friends back in September. Jessica, who is here for a year volunteering with a ministry for slum kids, invited me to join her and two friends visiting from Germany. I jumped at the chance to get out of the city for a day, and also brush up on my German a little. :-P I'm proud to say that, although I didn't know exactly what was being said, I at least could figure out the subject of conversation. Once, Jessica even started talking to me in German. She didn't figure out why I was laughing at her until she had finished what she wanted to say.

Wow Sally! Finally watched your pictures here. Amazing. I wish we could be there doing stuff like that with you. Who knows? Maybe someday.
I see, your friends and family see me from my best side: In my bathing suit with sun cream all over my face! ;-)Well, we should mention your lower part of your two piece bathing suit...
I am kind of regretting not getting a photo of that - I'm sure it's a sight you'll never forgot :-P
